The fragrance:

Crafted by Natalie Gracia Cetto, this Eau de Parfum encapsulates the luxury and opulence of the 18th Century with an array of luxurious ingredients. Every note chosen pays homage to Parfums de Marly’s art of perfume refinement in Louis XV’s Court with essences of citrus fruit, florals and exotic spice essences.

The oriental Eau de Parfum opens with a fresh start as zesty lime and sharp grapefruit are nuanced with the heat of pink pepper. The floral heart brings together rose and geranium, with the heat from saffron offering an amber spice. The backdrop of earthy patchouli adds a green edge to the scent, before welcoming the deep and powerful notes of labdanum, amber and cedarwood.
